We went to the rodeo - and came back with a (steel) horse

Last night we went to the MSU Spartan Stampede Rodeo, voted four time IPRA Indoor Rodeo of the Year. The event was completely sold out, and a lot of fun. Loud, exciting, and so very American.


They had vendors in the hallways, but not exactly what I had in mind: Lots of bling, interspersed with roping stuff.


But then JP and I spotted at the same time a horse and it was love at first sight for both of us:

It is made out of steel, and weighs 30 pounds - it's beautiful, doesn't need care, doesn't produce manure, and the cats can't throw it off the counter. Perfect!
